Durham Noon Lecture - The History of Union Station (including Christmas at Union Station)Sorrell Center, 2nd Floor - Room 2018 Thursday, November 29, 2012 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
The building that Omahan’s know as Union Station is not actually the first of its kind, nor the first, second, even third railroad station in the city. To understand this complex history, the role of the railroad, and why Union Station is such an iconic building in our city, you have to go back before there was a railroad, even before there was a city! We will also cover one of the city’s oldest traditions, Christmas at Union Station! Contact InfoCalendars: Alumni - Campus Life - Outreach & Public Events - Student Events |
