Surgery Transplant & Regenerative Medicine Seminar with Dr. Ram Mahato

Dr. Ram Mahato, the new appointed Chair of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, will be presented a seminar titled "Gene and Stem Cell Therapies for Successful Human Islet Transplantation in Humanized Diabetic Mice."
Dr. Mahato, most recently a Professor at University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, received his Bachelors degree from China Pharmaceutical University in Nanjing China and his Ph.D. from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, United Kingdom.
Dr. Mahato has been hired as the Chair of the Pharmaceutical Sciences department in the College of Pharmacy and will take over his new post in June 2013.
